Notice the unhurried nature of life, of the natural world. Nature isn't trying to make anything happen. It is just being, living out the natural rhythms and cycles.
Even a rushing, raging waterfall is not truly 'rushing' - it is not trying to achieve something; it is simply being, carrying out its natural flow in response to its place in the environment. Whatever it 'achieves' is simply an outflowing of its nature.
We are here as the 'masters' of nature - but not as something separate to the life around us, in order to dominate it (as we have so devastatingly.)
But to be creators with nature. To harness it, and to be partners with it.
Co-creators with Life.
The blessing and curse of having a sentient, self-aware mind is that we can choose whether we embrace this or not. We are not simply ruled by instinct or unconscious biological imperative.
So we can either use our minds to innovate and create, to be both integrated with the natural world and the self-directed masters of our own dreams.
Or we can be ruled by our minds, and so by fear, and end up seeking to dominate, trample, control hoard....
And we end up ruining the thing that is here to so beautifully sustain and support us in everything we could choose to do.
Instead of being limitless creators, our mind convinces us, like a little dictator bloated on its own self-importance, that life is our enemy, nature is out to get us, and so it (our mind) must take over and rule us. And by doing so, try to rule and control nature.
Do you feel that? That life is against you; that it is at best random, and at worst, set against you, an obstacle to you getting what you really want?
That is your mind talking. And you are not your mind. You are not your thoughts.
It wants to you believe so, because the mind (the ego) fears its own demise above all else. If you spend time in nature and remember your oneness with the Life that supports itself, that flows in cycles that when allowed to operate in balance and unhindered, lead only to increase, growth and self-sustaining harmony - well, then your mind wouldn't be able to rule anymore.
It would go back to simply being the useful tool we have at our disposal to aid us in creating and harnessing all that is available to us to bring about our dreams.
Instead we would be led by life itself. And we would be totally convinced of our abundance. We would not fear life or the unknown, but know without doubt that we are supported - like we take for granted that when we breathe in, there is air available to us.
Creation and manifestation and abundance would become a second nature as breathing. We would know that we could bring about anything we set about to do, fully aligned, because we would feel ourselves at one with the natural world.
Spend time in nature. Hear it speak to your soul. And let your mind settle back down into its rightful place, not as a fearful dictator trying to keep its own power, but as a resource and valuable tool; fantastic and amazing at it is to be able to think and rationalise and be self-aware - these things should not rule us.
Because we are not our minds. We are much, much more than that.
Just like the natural world around us, we are Life itself in ecstatic, creative expression. And so we are led by our souls instead, because that is beyond what even our minds can comprehend.
